Damm, you wouldn’t need a house, you could just tow your mobile home to where ever you wanted to live.

My God, is it even deleted? That makes me almost want it more. That’s what makes me not like most modern diesels, especially the Duramax because it’s even farther from the competitions power numbers.

There's a not small amount of guys who get new trucks every single year.

The emissions equipment. If you treat it like a work truck, you want it gone. You can cry about the environment all you want, but it sure makes things a pain in the ass when you are constantly sent in to limp mode if you let it idle for a while.

can you explain what you mean?

It means that the emissions systems are gone. Which having a work truck equipped with those systems, I can attest to that being a good thing if you do use it for work. The DPF especially gets clogged pretty easily if you have to idle it for any decent amount of time, sending it into limp mode, burning more fuel, raising egt’s, and cutting a lot of power. When you have to idle for a while, then pull a trailer, this makes it quite a bit more difficult. Our LMM Duramax struggles to do 60 on the interstate with some of these problems, only with 6 tons behind it. It’s a 3500.

OK that’s what I thought. How does that work for inspections? does it get a pass on emissions because big truck? or is it one of those things you nee to put back on once a year?

Put back or don’t do it. Some states used to have a weight limit, but I don’t know if that’s the case any more.
